Girl Scout Cookies are on the Way!!

Reading the blog? I'm sure we'll be contacting you to purchase some cookies after they go on sale this Saturday, the 19th at 9 a.m. Madalyn is ready for her first ever cookie selling season, so if you usually buy cookies during this time of the year please get some from her. Madalyn set a goal of selling 200 boxes - wish her luck! (We may be crazy!)

Madalyn turns 8!

I often feel old, especially with 30 approaching fast, but it was pretty clear that I am rapidly aging since Madalyn is now 8! We celebrated with cupcakes and cookies at school on Friday. We had a Girl Scout meeting on Saturday, and then dinner at Logan's per Maddy's request. Here are a few pics from dinner where we enjoyed the celebration and Madalyn loved being the center of attention at the restaurant. It was a Hannah Montana themed birthday, as Madalyn got tickets to the show in Austin next week. Tickets to the show complete with rock star outfit, wig, and guitar. Rock on!

Sunday Morning Fun

Here is a random picture from this morning that Jeff took while I was cooking breakfast- its the small things in life, right?

Makeovers continued

After the game, we took Brenah back to her house where the girls couldn't wait to use their face masks that they made at Libby Lu. I have no idea what was in that concoction, but it smelled really good. They got the boys to volunteer to be part of a makeover. Beck's face is classic.

Coach McDonald's 600th Win

On Friday night, the Raymond Crew, along with Brenah and my parents went to Hays High to see the Lady Rebels play New Braunfels. They didn't win the game, but it went down to the last minute, so that was super exciting. After the game they had a reception for Coach Donny McDonald to celebrate his 600th win with all of the current players and as many of old players as they could find.

Aunt Julie's Cool Aunt Christmas

For Christmas this year Julie gave Madalyn and Brenah makeovers from Libby Lu. We went last Friday and enjoyed watching the girls have such a great time.I'm not sure who had the better time. True to form, Brenah went with the Rock Star makeover and Madalyn went with the Princess - imagine that. They got to pick 5 things for their new backpacks, get their hair and makeup done, manicures, and did the Cha Cha slide when they were done. Then we went to lunch at California Pizza Kitchen and finished off the day with Costco to print the pictures.

Beau turns 13!!

On December 30th, my cousin Brandy's son Beau turned 13. It is so crazy and incredibly hard to believe since I was there when he was born and it does not even seem close to 13 years ago. My favorite part was that we were invited to the 'family party' and he was having a 'friends party' this weekend. So, apparently your family is longer cool at 13. Good to know. :)

Madalyn's Sleepover

Two days afer Christmas, Madalyn had Lily and Victoria over to stay the night. We went to the new Gattitown at Southpark Meadows and then back to the house for some fondue fun. Good times!
